Spooky Slains Castle is just a 44-minute drive from Aberdeen. Bram Stoker stayed nearby in 1895 and it’s thought the eerie ruins inspired his most famous novel.


You can also grab a drink in a Dracula themed ex-church.


Slains Castle is also the name of a fun Aberdeen bar housed in an impressively Gothic church. You won’t be surprised to hear they go all out at Halloween.


You’ll get the best view of Aberdeen from Tollohill.
